Truphatek Core Products Certified for use with Sterrad Plasma Sterilization

Oded Shnaid (Truphatek Global Q.A. Manager) announced today that evaluations carried out by the ASPUS Team had been succesful and that all Truphatek core product ranges of laryngoscope blades and handles had been declared as compatible for sterilization using the Sterrad Plasma Sterilization Systems. He added that they will now be listed in the Sterrad Sterility Guide. Mr Shnaid noted that this certification process was another indication of the high quality and global reputation of Truphatek's product range. To gain this certification, Truphatek's Engineering Team had upgraded the design of the EquipLED laryngoscope blade range in order to ensure that the contained LED illumination could withstand the required temperatures and be sterilized using Sterrad.  This was an important market requirement and he was unaware of any other LED contained product that had obtained this status.
